As a condensing furnace, this furnace will need to be vented with plastic or PVC flue venting. If you are looking for a furnace that requires metal flue venting, you would need an 80% efficient furnace.

Two Stage 9-Speed Furnace

With a two stage burner, the GD9T960403BN provides two heating outputs: one at a 60% heating output for warmer days and one at a 100% output for when you need the furnace most. The furnace also has a 9 speed ECM motor instead of an inefficient PSC motor. Both of these upgrades provide a better efficiency with a more stable output to better heat your home through all seasons of use.
