Goodman 3 Ton 14.3 SEER2 Multi-Family Air Conditioner Condenser R32 GLXS4MA3610

The air conditioning unit features a high-efficiency scroll compressor and a factory-installed filter drier. It is fully charged for 15 feet of tubing length and includes a 5mm diameter copper tube with an enhanced aluminum fin coil. The unit is equipped with service valves that have sweat connections and easy-to-access gauge ports, an enclosed contactor, a ground lug connection, and capacitors designed for extended life. It also includes a high-pressure switch and is both AHRI Certified and ETL Listed.

The cabinet is designed with a removable grille-style top that complies with UL 60335-2-40. It is constructed from heavy-gauge galvanized steel and features a venturi to increase airflow velocity. The attractive Architectural Gray powder-paint finish is approved for 500-hour salt-spray exposure. Additional features include a steel louver coil guard, single-panel access to controls with space for field-installed accessories, and compliance with the 2020 Florida Building Code for hurricane-type winds when properly anchored.

3.5 Tons

At an output of 3.5 tons, the Goodman CHPTA4230C3 evaporator coil is ready for almost any horizontal application that matches that output need. In entire system configurations, the coil will be either larger or the same size as the condenser's tonnage. As such, the tonnages of the coil and the condenser may be different in order to maintain the unit's efficiency. Please note that for this coil to function, a furnace or blower and a condenser is required, all sold separately. This coil is not designed to replace a coil in a single-piece air handler.

Warranty

The CHPTA4230C3 coil is covered under Goodman's standard 10 year parts warranty when the unit is installed following your state and local codes, the coil is paired with a compatible R32 condenser, and the entire system is registered online through the manufacturer.

Installation and Durability

The Goodman CHPTA4230C3 horizontal evaporator coil is designed with aluminum tubing and fin coils, lowering wear and tear on the unit. The coil also comes with a TXV kit factory-installed, making it one less thing for your installer to have to install, lowering installation costs. For easier maintenance access, the front of the coil's durable cabinet has a split-seam.

Enhanced Comfort and Efficiency

The Goodman CHPTA4230C3 horizontal evaporator coil's built-in TXV kit provides a significant increase in refrigerant control, increasing the overall efficiency of the entire system and providing a more precise temperature output to make you more comfortable in your home. On top of that, the coil has a mold-resistant, thermoplastic drain pan set that lowers potentially dangerous particle buildup.
