2 Tons

At an output of 2 tons, the Goodman CHPTA2426C3 evaporator coil is ready for almost any horizontal application that matches that output need. In entire system configurations, the coil will be either larger or the same size as the condenser's tonnage. As such, the tonnages of the coil and the condenser may be different in order to maintain the unit's efficiency. Please note that for this coil to function, a furnace or blower and a condenser is required, all sold separately. This coil is not designed to replace a coil in a single-piece air handler.

Warranty

The CHPTA2426C3 coil is covered under Goodman's standard 10 year parts warranty when the unit is installed following your state and local codes, the coil is paired with a compatible R32 condenser, and the entire system is registered online through the manufacturer.

Installation and Durability

The Goodman CHPTA2426C3 horizontal evaporator coil is designed with aluminum tubing and fin coils, lowering wear and tear on the unit. The coil also comes with a TXV kit factory-installed, making it one less thing for your installer to have to install, lowering installation costs. For easier maintenance access, the front of the coil's durable cabinet has a split-seam.

80,000 BTU

At an input of 80,000 BTU’s, the GRVT800803BN Goodman gas furnace is suitable for up to a small to medium house in an average climate. The output of this furnace is 64,000 BTU’s, which is calculated by the input times the 80% efficiency rating.

80% Efficiency Rating

With the industry standard efficiency of 80% AFUE, the GRVT800803BN Goodman gas furnace uses 80% of the fuel going into the furnace to heat your home and the remaining 20% of the fuel going into it is used up in normal furnace operations and is lost out of the flue venting. The GRVT800803BN requires metal flue venting like any 80% efficient furnace, while anything 90% and above would require plastic or PVC venting.

Two Stage Variable Speed Furnace

The GRVT800803BN is equipped with two stages, allowing for an adjusted heat output to better suit your home’s comfort needs. The integrated variable speed blower on the furnace allows for an exact airflow output based on the requirements for your home as calculated by the control board and thermostat, keeping your home at a more constant temperature and increasing efficiency overall.

The GRVT800803BN comes standard with Goodman’s 10 year parts warranty and its phenomenal lifetime heat exchanger warranty. In order to maintain this warranty, the installation must follow your state and local codes and the unit must be registered online through the manufacturer.
