40,000 BTU, 96% AFUE
The ACiQ G96VTN0401712A has an input of 40,000 BTU. With an efficiency of 96%, this means that the furnace has an output of 38,400 BTU, meaning that it is generally suitable for small houses in ideal climates. The 96% AFUE also means that for the gas going into the furnace, 96% of it is used to heat your home while the remaining 4% is lost out the flue piping and lost to normal furnace operations. All 96% furnaces require plastic/PVC flue venting, and if you need it to be metal flue venting to match your current setup, you would need to get an 80% efficient furnace. While this unit uses natural gas as fuel out of the box, we also have an LP conversion kit, available at an additional cost.

ACiQ offers 10 year parts warranty and lifetime (20 year) heat exchanger limited warranty. Please note that in order for these warranties to be upheld, installation following your state and local codes are required, along with timely registration through the manufacturer.

OVERVIEW

Learning Condenser - Equipped with advanced sensors, this condenser monitors air temperature inside and outside, overall system performance, duct pressure, and refrigerant temperature. During the initial startup, it enters a learning mode to optimize efficiency for future operation by continuously gathering and storing critical data so future startups and run cycles will be at max efficiency.
Optimized Cooling - The self-adjusting inverter design allows the condenser to operate all the way down to a 1 ton unit when needed, keeping you cool and comfortable, making it an ideal seasonal device for hot climates where additional air conditioning is needed for homes already heated by boilers, fireplaces, or other sources of heat. For optimal performance, pair the ACIQ-18-AC-B unit with the ACIQ-24-ACL-B coil or ACIQ-24-ACL-14-B.

The ACIQ-24-ACL-B is rated for up to 2 tons of heating and cooling. With its ability to be installed with either an AC-only condenser or a heat pump condenser, this unit is ideal for many applications. In some packages, this coil will be larger than its paired condenser, which will increase the overall efficiency of the entire unit, but the coil should never be smaller than its paired condenser. Please note that this item cannot operate independently from a compatible condenser and blower or furnace, each available at an additional cost.
