The ACiQ AQ-CAPFA1818A3 evaporator coil is rated for a 1.5 ton output. In many system configurations, this coil may be larger in tonnage than its paired condenser. This is intentional, to maintain the overall efficiency of the entire system. Please note that in order for this coil to function, a furnace or blower and a condenser is required, all sold separately.

Installation and Durability
The ACiQ AQ-CAPFA1818A3 evaporator coil is able to be installed in upflow and downflow applications. With its rust-resistant, thermoplastic drain plan, water retention rate is significantly lower than previous models. For even more enhanced durability, the cabinet is made of a strong galvanized-steel with a leather-grain finish. If you ever need to perform maintenance on your coil, there is a split-seam on the front of the casing for easy internal access. Please note that this coil will not work as a replacement for any single-piece air handler coils.

80% Efficiency Rating
The AQ-GR9T800403AN ACiQ gas furnace is 80% efficient, and the standard furnace efficiency on the market today. This means that 80% of the gas going into the furnace is used to heat your home and the remaining 20% is lost out of the flue venting. Please note that all 80% furnaces must be vented using metal flue venting, while anything higher than 90% efficient must be vented using plastic/PVC venting.

Two Stage Furnace
The AQ-GR9T800403AN ACiQ gas furnace is a two stage furnace that has two heating outputs on the burner: full output on colder winter days and a lower output for milder days that the furnace doesn't have to run quite as much. Two stage furnaces allow for a more even heat distribution, as the furnace will only kick on the higher stage if the indoor temperature is more than a few degrees away from the desired temperature. Since the lower stage will be used more often, the AQ-GR9T800403AN will run quieter than a single stage system. While the majority of the benefits of a two stage feature on a furnace are comfort based, the efficiency of the furnace is slightly higher due to it burning less fuel at its lower stage.
Natural Gas or LP Furnace
From the factory, the AQ-GR9T800403AN runs on natural gas. However all ACiQ gas furnaces can be converted to propane using the furnace's corresponding , an optional accessory at an additional cost that consists of a replacement set of orifices and springs.
