Fan Blade Pitch
Fan blade pitch refers to the angle at which the blades of a condenser fan or blower wheel are set relative to the air stream. The pitch determines how much air the fan can move at a specific RPM and directly impacts the static pressure of the Air Handlers. A steeper pitch moves more air but requires a more powerful motor and can create more noise. In our Motors-Fans collection, replacement blades must match the original pitch exactly to maintain the system's factory balance. ACIq engineers spend hundreds of hours optimizing blade pitch to ensure "whisper-quiet" operation for residential neighborhoods. If a blade becomes bent and the pitch is altered, the system will vibrate and lose cooling capacity. This small design detail is what allows modern Mobile Home AC Condensers to be so much more efficient than older models. It is a fundamental element of the aerodynamics that govern modern climate control equipment.
