Compensating Valve

A compensating valve is a type of regulation device that adjusts the flow of a fluid based on changes in temperature or pressure elsewhere in the system. In many HVAC applications, these valves ensure that the system maintains a steady output even when external conditions fluctuate. For instance, in complex Multi-Zone Systems, a compensating valve might manage water flow in a hydronic loop. You can find specialized valves and fittings for these setups in our Water-Plumbing collection. By automatically reacting to system changes, the valve reduces the workload on the Compressor or pump, extending the equipment's life. This type of automated balancing is what makes modern Commercial HVAC systems so much more efficient than older manual designs. It prevents the "spikes" in temperature that can lead to occupant discomfort. These valves are essential for any high-precision climate control project.
